A few blocks from the freeway with entrances to Hwy 14 and I-5, this is the perfect stop on a road trip or visit. Our home is located within walking distance to beautiful Downtown Vancouver, including bars, restaurants, shopping and New Seasons grocery store. PLEASE NOTE: this is a small unit in a historic home that has had few updates (see photos).

Or, to unwind, walk to Overlook or Mocks Crest parks for sweeping views of downtown Portland, Forest Park and the Willamette River. ABSOLUTELY NO THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS. Our quaint studio, located in N. Portland welcomes you with everything you need to have a classic PDX vacay. A private entrance, as well as transit access to explore PDX (bus stop just outside your private gate), 4 grocers (1 organic), with quick access to downtown PDX via the St. Johns Bridge. The space is comfortable, very clean, fast WiFi, private laundry, smart TV, as well as many other amenities. Space for two, solo and business travelers.

Basement Dwelling

This basement efficiency apartment has its own entrance off the driveway next to the sidewalk and has everything you might need to be comfortable. The ceiling is not that high so I recommend it for people under 6'2". My family including a dog and cats live in the house above so you might hear us but they don’t have access to the apt. Gas and/or electric heat that you control, smart TV and recliner that will stand you up. I do allow animals if you pay the $20 pet fee and see rules.

Renovated 1926 Bungalow. 6' of dirt was dugout to make a unique 1/4 daylight basement. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, breweries, Carter Park, & our amazing new waterfront. Easy access to I-5, close to Portland International Airport, & Portland, OR, shopping (NO sales tax!). Very comfortable space, fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, convection toaster oven, & induction hot plate (works amazing). Ask about my pet policy.
