Enjoy a hot outdoor shower, overlooking the vineyard. Sit quietly in the evening with a glass of wine, around the brazier watching the stars appear, after you have enjoyed the many activities that Mangawhai has to offer. Beach walks, swims, surfing, golf, or any of the many bush walks or local weekend markets.

Paradise awaits, our cozy, coastal self-contained cottage is ideally located, in a central, quiet and peaceful area and handy to the beach. Overlooking the Lake, it is perfect for a weekend getaway or longer to explore the Coromandel. A short stroll, Cooks is a beautiful sandy beach, very safe for swimming with many other stunning beaches nearby. Cooks Beach is made famous because Captain James Cook sailed on the HMS Endeavour into Mercury Bay in 1769 and anchored at Cooks Beach off Purangi.

The house is seating on waterfront side of driveway, which shared by other four houses, we living in another house down the driveway, can assist in mins if needed. We are on the Kauaeranga Valley Rd close to all the walking tracks, so if you are wanting to walk the tracks during the day & stay with us at night the cabin would be perfect for you.
