You are also a short walk from the Blue Whale Grocery , Fishing Hole Tackle Shop and Alex's Shrimp Shack (great steamed shrimp!). Additionally you are only a 1.5 mile drive/bike ride from the Salvo Day Use Area which is an ideal spot for kayakers, kiteboarders, windsurfers, and stand-up paddle boarders to launch from.

Make sure to visit the Lighthouse, a short bike or drive away. Above the garage apartment with private entrance. There are 18 stairs that you must climb to get to the apartment. You will have access to our back yard and side yard for grilling if you would like to bring one. We are about a mile from beach access for 4x4 driving and walk on access. We are 7 miles from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and 6 miles from the ferry terminal in Hatteras.
