We are on tank water which tastes amazing! But we do try and conserve water where we can of course. Location is perfect for the The Blue Mountains, Katoomba, Lithgow and Lake Lyell Lots of wild life. Serenity it is !! There is an UNFENCED dam on our property, guests must be very careful if they venture down to it.

The renovated cabin is set in an acre of gardens and is an ideal retreat for a couple. The cabin has a Living/Bedroom area with one queen bed, a sunny Kitchen and a new Bathroom. There are cafes nearby, the Botanic Gardens are a short walk, and the main towns of the Blue Mountains are 20 minutes drive away.

Initially it was a semi-detached workers cottage built in the 1870's as accommodation for the employees of the Hartley Kerosene Oil & Paraffine Co.Ltd which was established in Hartley Vale on July 31st 1865.
