There are many historical lighthouses and museums, wineries, boat tours, deep sea fishing, clam digging, golf courses, restaurants and shopping all within a 30 minutes.

Fully functional kitchen with efficient tiny home appliances, full bath with corner shower, a Queen bed with a twin above it in the upper container and a twin on the main level. Three decks, two are rooftops. Hot tub is only operational from Sept - June, NOT July and August unless requested in advance.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Our lot is right on the Northumberland Strait (Warmest waters north of Carolina's), has stunning panoramic ocean views with bank access to the beautiful beach below. A great beach to swim and explore. Features a large wrap around patio with BBQ, furniture and a large grassy lawn. It is a great place to stay if you enjoy kayaking, fishing or boating as there is a boat launch just minutes away.
