Our luxurious and romantic cottage with a fabulous Superking bed is the perfect retreat for visitors to Manchester and the Peaks who want a relaxing holiday in a spectacular setting. Nestled in a conservation area of the Heaton Mersey Valley, it is a little piece of country in the town. It is surrounded by beauty spots, parks, nature reserve, shops, restaurants, transport links and a nearby pub. This stunning stone built mid-terraced over dwelling cottage can be found a short walk from the desirable West Yorkshire village of Ripponden and is full of traditional character and charm. Situated just 15 mins drive from The Piece Hall, Halifax and just 20 mins drive from popular visitor destination, Hebden Bridge.

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

The historic village of Chapeltown is ideal for walking, cycling or just relaxing. A stone’s throw away is the friendly pub, offering great pub food. A 5 minute walk will take you to the Wayoh reservoir and surrounding areas leading to Entwistle and Jumbles Country park. Turton Tower is a short walk away and Bromley Cross train station is 1.5 miles with a direct line to Manchester and Clitheroe. The Lancashire cycle way runs past the doorstep as does as the cycling stage of Ironman uk.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

Pots & Pans Cottage is a charming dog-friendly​ 18th-century weavers cottage located in a small hamlet 10 minutes walk from the centre of Uppermill village in Saddleworth, and 35 minutes away from Manchester. The location of the cottage is quiet and peaceful, so it is not a suitable place to hold a party. It is, however, a fabulous spot for a relaxing retreat into the countryside, with the open Peak District right on the doorstep.

Set in the hillside of Greenfield, Saddleworth. The cottage is situated on our family farm where we have a variety of animals: horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Due to the potential dangers we ask that guests do not access the yard and use the designated path to the cottage. The cottage has been recently renovated and features a wood burning stove and open wooden beams which has retained traditional character
