The Annexe

Pitilie Annexe offers luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 5 Guests (max 4 adults & 1 child). Located just 1.5 miles from Aberfeldy it is the perfect location to explore the stunning Scottish countryside. This beautifully presented new property is finished to the highest standard combining contemporary stylish décor and modern furnishings. Upstairs there are two bedrooms which evoke a cosy atmosphere each with ensuite facilities and Kingsize beds. There is also a cube bed suitable for a child. The living area is open-plan and includes a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities. The bright living space boasts a gorgeous l-shaped teal sofa along with quality furnishings, Smart TV with Sky television and free WIFI. Glass doors lead to the patio and garden where you can relax and unwind in the private Hot tub whilst enjoying the panoramic countryside views. During the winter period, especially December to February, please only book if arriving in a 4x4 vehicle. Our drive way is a private road and can be rather tricky to drive on snowy days.

Stable Studio at Airlie Castle

A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

Luxury, off-grid glamping

Drum roll for our latest venture, the River Cabin. Over the last few years, we've lovingly recreated and restored our old fishing hut situated in total seclusion on the edge of the river Fernate. The result is a dreamy, sustainable glamping bolthole that truly embodies highland escapism. Sitting by the fire pit, searing steak on the Green Egg BBQ, or soaking in the wood-fired hot tub, you'll instantly switch off and feel utterly at one with nature as the river burbles away in the background.

Real Fairytale Treehouse

Set within the grounds of Fernie Castle a beautiful authentic Treehouse with 6 living Trees growing and thriving. Equally beautiful in all seasons especially winter being so very cozy, it is fully heated with lots of hot water for the freestanding bath for two. With all the amenities of a 5 star bedroom, a large freestanding bath on the second floor with a small balcony with views to the stunning countryside it does indeed feel like a fairytale just remember to bring your favourite bubbles...

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Deenie Cottage is situated in Kinnettles, Angus. A great location for a romantic or family getaway. Get your walking boots on and explore the surrounding nature with countryside walks from the door step, and the Angus Glens just a short drive away. Visit the historical Glamis Castle and Gardens (4 miles away). Dundee (11 miles away) and St Andrews (24 miles away) have many tourist attractions, such as the V&A, along with a range of cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from.

We have ancient Caledonian woodlands for you to explore, full of incredible wildlife and a wild swimming pond for those looking for a cold water fix - look us up under cotwild The Shepards hut sleeps 2 adults & 2 children under 12yrs on a sofa bed sleeping bag. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

The perfect place for two. Wood House (formerly the Loft) is an open plan apartment , created in 2019. Surrounded by the woods and fields of secluded , from this little place you can walk or cycle for miles, undisturbed; or be still, and listen to the silence. Red squirrels scamper. Red kites soar.
