We poured a lot of love into designing The Barn, those soaring double-height ceilings still stop us in our tracks, and we had so much fun layering the place with bold colour and beautiful fabrics. You'll have your own private garden, plus the run of the grounds and fields around: sweeping lawns and a great pond with a rowing boat, if you're feeling brave. It is the East wing of Hylands, decorated in sympathy with Arts and Crafts principles. Quality finishes and materials throughout, using local suppliers and crafts people. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the 'Rifleman's Arms'.
