Timber Haven Chalet is a private secluded getaway for family and friends located 4 miles from downtown Lake Placid. Recent renovations of the entire home have made this a wonderful vacation spot. The location is perfect for hikers, cross-country skiers, and minutes from all Olympic venues. The main living area has hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, a gas fireplace upstairs, TV, and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Double slider doors open up to the rustic large deck which boasts a fantastic view of Whiteface Mountain in winter, table with fire feature and a Weber gas grill. There are 2 bedrooms on this level with queen sized beds, dresser, and a custom built cedar lined closet armoire in each bedroom. There is a full bath on this level (updated 2024). The lower level includes a gas fireplace and a Queen Bed with a Roku TV, a full bathroom with tiled shower ans soaking tub (renovated 2024). French Doors on the lower level exit to the backyard. There is a brick patio under the deck which looks out to the backyard firepit. The property has a short pathway leading to the Jackrabbit Trail for winter cross-country skiing and connects to the Craigwood Golf Course. The home is on a 2 acre wooded lot. 4 miles from Downtown Lake Placid 1.9 miles to the Olympic Ski Jumping Complex .4 miles to the Adirondack LOJ Road and excellent high peak hiking 16 miles to Whiteface Mountain Ski Center 2.8 miles to the Mt. The Gallery Cabin at Camp Arden

Step under a pair of moose antlers and enter a serene world without cellphone reception. Swing in a hanging log chair and have a BBQ on a screened-in porch with views of a pond. Borrow a canoe and go paddling on nearby lakes and rivers. At Camp Arden, we follow Airbnb’s and the CDC's recommended enhanced cleaning protocols. The cabin is in the Loon Lake area. It's a 20-minute drive to Saranac Lake and 35 minutes to Lake Placid. It's recommended to have your own vehicle or rental to best enjoy the Adirondacks. Because of its size taxis are expensive and an Uber may take some time to reach you. If you're flying in, the nearest airport, SLK, is 15 minutes away.

Come enjoy Tupper Lake and the Adirondacks in this year-round lakefront 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin on Little Wolf Pond. Situated right on the waters edge, the views will wash away all your stress. Steps down to the lake for swimming access. Or take out the canoe, 2 kayaks or 2 paddle boards and explore the grassy inlet to the pond, Little Wolf Beach, and the mountains poking up between the trees. July/Aug reservations are Saturday to Saturday only. Dogs are welcome, but must be on reservation

Dock seating and swimming with a dog friendly stair. Fire pit with firewood on the lawn with Adirondack chairs for your use. Two, kayaks come with the rental. Our fully equipped seasonal cottage is on the Salmon river 15 minutes north of Malone and close to the Canadian border. We can provide info on visiting Montreal as well as the Wilder Homestead, fishing and hiking trails. We have an appetizer or home made soup waiting for guests on their arrival. A screened pavilion with picnic table and outdoor kitchen was added in 2021. Finnish steam sauna w shower was completed in fall 2019. Nice outhouse! Self Check in May - Oct. 160 private acres with 4 miles of trails on our 3/4 mi stretch of the wild and scenic St Regis River in the Adirondack Park. Pets are ok. We Welcome Diversity.
