Nature Lover's Getaway!

Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life? This is the place for you! Kick back and relax in this stylish home, far enough out of the city to get away, but close enough to enjoy the benefits of city life. Be aware - the house sits on a .5 mile bumpy dirt road, worth it if you are looking for peace and quiet. Due to the location, the best we can do is a data-limited hotspot for WIFI. So, we added a game room. Pets are welcome. The cost is $30 a night per pet that is paid separately.

Mountain Cabin in Town

Located on top of a hill surrounded by 3 acres of wooded areas, our beautiful recently renovated A-Frame cabin is only a few minutes from downtown Wake Forest and 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh! The Mountain Cabin in Town is extremely private while still offering shopping, dining, and activities just a short ways away. There is a "Welcome book" on the table as you walk into the house with house rules, property information, and local activities. Also available online, see the house manual.

On just over 2 acres you can Relax and “Reset” at our peaceful and spacious getaway. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the country but be minutes from restaurants, shopping, downtown Wake Forest and all of the wonderful things our community has to offer. Our land hosts amazing sunrises and sunsets and a star show at night that you most definitely don’t get in town! June of 2021 we finished up a complete re-design/remodel of our modern farmhouse so everything is updated fresh and new!

Two Dachshund Farm (Lavender & Fiber Farm), LLC

Stay on a working fiber/lavender farm convenient to the Raleigh/Durham area - 20 min. from Interstate 85 & 50 min. from 95. Interact with our alpacas, sheep, llamas, Angora goats, donkeys, & more. Shop our farm store, stroll the property. Tours are free for registered guests. Friends may join the tour for a fee. Use of the pool is for registered guests only. Twenty stairs lead up to the 700 sq ft over-the-garage apartment with private entrance. Includes a king bed & pullout couch.

Antler & Oak (Wheless Farms, LLC)

Set in the country for a Peaceful setting where you can hear the birds sing and see our beautiful flowers and enjoy sitting on the front porch and relaxing. We originally started as a Bed & Breakfast called Antler & Oak in Franklin County, located just north of Raleigh and East of Wake Forest. The place is 100 years old, renovated the front portion for use to accommodate guests. Guests have full access to the space including a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths.

Then unwind after all your relaxing in large Jacuzzi tub in master bath. Wood burning fireplace and dart board in the living room make for a fun night at home. Huge rooms and very comfy beds & pillows and flat screens & Roku in every room!

The entire group will enjoy easy access to everything Wake Forest has to offer from this centrally located place. Located within walking distance to downtown Wake Forest, you can enjoy family friendly events as well as the nightlife. Wake Forest offers many unique boutiques and small businesses. Despite the proximity to downtown, we frequently have deer in the back yard which adds to the home town feel.

Harmony House on 10-Acre Farm with Pond

Relax with the whole family at this remodeled historic home built in 1897. The house has a large pond and is situated on 10 wooded acres we call Noble Fox Farm. Feel free to take a stroll around the property and enjoy the quiet serenity. Our pond has plenty of fish for catch-and-release, or you could bring a canoe or stand-up paddleboard. Downtown Louisburg is just two miles down the road.
