A unique and tranquil getaway. Come stay at this fish and wildlife themed cabin in the woods. There are antique firearms, fishing items and outdoor photos that we’ve taken. Enjoy the deck while eating dinner and watching the patio TV or enjoying your morning coffee around the fire pit. If the weather happens to be bad, no worries. Rental is on 5 acres and 100 yards from road. Owner lives on property. This is only rental on property and there is lots of space and privacy between the homes. Outside electric and water. 14 miles from Talequah - see museums, shops, restaurants, and take a raft trip on the Illinois River!

We have been in the nightly rental business for 20 years and we know how to equip our places to make our guests feel at home. We have completely remodeled this home. Set on 250 acres that include Clear Creek, bluffs, pastures, and forest, the farmhouse offers seclusion and quiet for one or two people looking for a getaway. There are paths to wander, a deck to sit on overlooking a pasture, thousands of books to peruse, old maps, a turntable with some eclectic vinyl, and farmdogs who love new people. We live on site and can tell stories or let you be. We prefer some dialog before booking.

We have the privilege of sharing our area with white tail deer, red fox, many species of birds, and our resident ground hog!
