Blackthorn is a luxurious retreat for two. Attached to the owner's home, and situated on the edge of Icklesham village, the property lies halfway between the ancient towns of Rye and Hastings. There is a distant view of the sea, and the garden is surrounded by beautiful AONB countryside. The cottage has a private, south facing verandah, and guests are welcome to use the heated, indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub throughout their stay but exclusively between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm.

There is a train station only 5 mins walk so if you fancy a day in London you can be there within the hour. The historical city of Canterbury is only a 25 minute drive.

Rustic Log Cabin, quiet with uninterrupted views

The cabin is made of wood, set in 12 acres of land. It has a decking area at the back of the property overlooking uninterrupted views of open farmland which is quiet and peaceful. It’s a studio with a 5ft bed, kitchenette, shower room with WC. Breakfast items are provided including Bread, pastries, butter, milk yogurt juice, jam, fruit, tea and coffee. The Beach is a two minute walk & the Romney,Hythe & Dymchurch Railway runs past the bottom of this quirky & contemporary dwelling. Shingle Shack is a deceptively spacious detached property with large lounge,shower room,comfy bedroom, private access & parking for one car. It is perfectly situated to explore the wonderful beach's,nature reserves & quaint villages that the Romney Marsh has to offer.

The Times featured us! Sappington Granary is a secluded, romantic hideaway in pretty Kent countryside. This 200yr-old wooden farm building has been updated, but retains its unusual charm. Delightfully & individually decorated, it is one of a kind. Inside it is snug & romantic. Perfect for little breaks, peacefully isolated but still close to Canterbury and beaches. Walk in nearby woods, the local valleys or even (if very energetic) to the pub, it is the perfect couples' break.

Beautiful bolthole near the White Cliffs of Dover

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Guests have said how hard it is to tear themselves away, it truly is a treasure to find.

Delightful 1 bedroom cabin on the shingle headland at Dungeness, moments from the sea, with wonderful views. A large modern walk in shower room and separate living room with kitchenette. Super comfy kingsize bed or twin beds option, and a sofa bed. There is good wifi. Please note there is no TV. Dungeness is a working community -peaceful, spacious and remote as it is, people live and work here and will be going about their daily business.
