We are lovers of "Lake Life" and want to share our experiences of Turtle Lake with others who love tranquility and time to reflect, but also want to hike at the Kettle Morraine State Forest, enjoy camp fires, tour local historic towns such as Lake Geneva and other sites, fish (including the best ice fishing in the area!), canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, reading, and simply enjoying conversations with friends and family. We recently remodeled the kitchen, bathroom and 2 lower bedrooms.

Renovated in 2008, Susie's Cottage is named after a sweet person in our lives. The quaint cottage nestled in Rockton is surrounded by the cute shops downtown, Macktown Golf course and Macktown Forest Preserve is steps away. The seclusion adds to the quietness of this studio cottage. Susie's cottage is finished in vintage style carefully selected yet a balance of modern amenities. The cottage boasts a queen bed as well as a sleeper sofa to expand sleeping for four. Sorry, no pets.

This welcoming 1 bedroom apartment is located close to downtown Janesville, the city of parks. It has been updated throughout and has all the amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay, including a gas grill in the wooded back yard. It even has off street parking. You can easily walk to the Janesville Performing Arts Center and continue downtown and enjoy the Saturday morning Farmer's Market, shopping, restaurants and bars. Access to the Bike Trail is only a few minutes away.

A private locked entrance opens up to a sunny space with great views of a wetland beyond the backyard. Private patio to enjoy morning coffee and the sunrise. A great place to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty! We have binoculars if you love bird watching, and bikes to ride or hike the Glacial Drumlin Trail just 0.1 mile from the front door. Unfortunately we can't accommodate same day bookings as we don't have enough lead time to prep the cabin for your stay. Glamping on a working Christmas tree farm. Beautiful single room stone cabin with loft and wood burning stove. Two small beds in loft and futon on main floor folds out into full bed. Lots of room around to pitch tents as well. Situated on 40 acres of land with a pond, barn with basketball court, creek and Christmas tree fields.
