If not so ambitious, enjoy a day of sight seeing, exploring local beaches, snuggle up by the fireplace. Or, better yet, grab a blanket and stargaze on the private patio with propane fireplace and roast marshmallows. The Lazy J - a peaceful farm in a natural setting

Welcome to the Lazy J Ranch. We offer a self-contained walkout basement suite that sleeps four comfortably. The suite has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed. It has its own patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and a view out over the fields and the forest. Nestled on 13 acres, The Lazy J is home to our alpacas, horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Walk down the trail to watch the animals, and relax beside the creek.

New stand alone, 1 level bright 2 bedroom nestled in the woods on 5 acres with radiant floor heating on a working farm. Located in the centre of the island we are not far from many local activities. Englishman River Park and the famous Hammerfest trails for bike and hikes. Fast Times amusements is just 10 min away with fun for the whole family. Parksville beach is a short 20 min comute. Cathedral Grove is 30 mins away for a beautiful stroll through the massive standing B.C. trees.

Enjoy an abundance of natural light from windows and skylights. The space also includes a 3 piece bathroom and a small table and 2 chairs for dining or use as a work station. We are located just outside Parksville in a rural area. This is a great central location for exploring the Island and only 10 minutes from downtown Parksville.

The townhouse looks out into forest parkland and is an easy five minute stroll through the resort to Rathtrevor beach. The beautiful sand beach stretches out almost a kilometre at low tide offering safe sandy beaches and warm water swimming.

Oceanside Escapes

Oceanside Escapes is a year-round destination, perfect for a romantic weekend away or an annual trip with family and friends. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is pet friendly (additional fee) and is available for bookings for five nights or more during the summer season (2026 onwards) and two nights or more during the balance of the year. The cabin is situated on two floors, with a loft style third bedroom and bathroom on the upstairs level.

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that there is wi-fi at the cabin but no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.
