Downs Cottage, Elsted, South Downs National Park

Downs Cottage is in the village of Elsted, nestled at the foot of the South Downs. The cottage has very comfortable accommodation for 3. The living room has a fireplace with an adjoining fully equipped kitchen/diner plus an outdoor table and chairs in a courtyard. There is a double and a single bedroom. The well known 3 Horseshoes Pub is close by and South Harting has a shop/post office. Convenient for walking the South Downs or visiting Midhurst, Petworth Chichester, Goodwood or South Coast.

Large guest house

The spacious annex has a separate guest entrance and off-street parking. Guests can use the private patio and there are facilities for breakfast of toast & cereal (included). Located down a private drive in the heart of Liphook within walking distance of many local amenities (3 pubs, supermarket, cinema, take aways). The train station is only a 7 minute walk away and a 2 minute walk from a bus stop. We are on the edge of the South Downs National Park with some stunning walks from the house.

It offers a tranquil retreat in a home away from home setting with a cosy open plan living space championed by the log burning stove. Enjoy cooking your own English Breakfast - of which eggs are graciously supplied by our chickens -amongst views and visits of our 17 strong Alpaca herd. Our beautiful converted Granary is just across the courtyard from our farm house and is totally self contained. It is a huge open plan room with exposed beams, wooden floor, rugs, an extremely comfortable sofa bed, a mezzanine with two single mattresses suitable for agile extra guests, a kitchenette and a lovely shower room. There is an enormous bookcase which guests are welcome to borrow from during their stay and a equally large flat screen TV with Sky, Netflix etc
