The Bird's Nest - Cabin by the River

Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

The Little Green Cabin is a newly renovated cabin nestled on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, between Strasburg and Woodstock—an escape from the city—a quiet oasis to enjoy the outdoors and just take it easy. Walk 25 minutes to the river. Drive 10 minutes to the national park entrance and Skyline Drive. Roads are in excellent condition year-round. Your guest suite is on the ground floor, recently finished, with a private entrance (separate from the main house), with access to outdoor space, deck, swings, fire pit etc.

Since The Bunkhouse borders the George Washington National Forest you can simply walk thru the yard into the woods connecting to multiple hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails. The view from the multiple decks and the fire pit are spectacular. Elizabeth Furnace is nearby.

It has a shared driveway with the host's primary residence.
