Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. The Manor House is set in 50 acres on the Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire boarders. The Pond Barn is on its own, in a secluded spot next to the duck pond, looking out over the fields. The village has direct access to Martin Down Nature Reserve, right on the edge of the New Forest, where you can ride or walk for miles. 40 minutes from the coast. Chilling, riding, playing Tennis, walking... the possibilities are endless. Bring your horse - a stable/field are available at an extra cost.

The Carriage House

The Carriage house is half of a newly converted cottage finished to a high standard situated within a 14 ac plot. There are two double bedrooms one bathroom and a separate shower wet room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed , the second bedroom a full double.Bed linen is 100% cotton with feather duvets. Synthetic available on request. There is a fully fitted kitchen with oven , hob and dishwasher and microwave. Outside there is a private garden area and plenty of parking.

Bay Tree Lodge is a beautiful little space set in the countryside, ideal for a peaceful getaway for two people or can accommodate up to a family of four. We are located approx. 25 minutes from Salisbury, 30 minutes to Bournemouth/Poole and 10 minutes to the New Forest. The Lodge is newly refurbished with all the facilities you should require during your stay with us. We are very happy to help with any local advice or additional services we may be able to provide for you.
