Otane Cottage at Smaills beach

Otane Cottage is at Smaills Beach with access to the Otago Peninsula and wildlife while only ten minutes from the city centre. The cottage has a stunning view and rural feel. It's close to local surf spots and if you are lucky you may get to see the southern lights (Aurora australis). Our proximity to the beach also means close encounters with the endangered NZ sealion (Pakake). In spring, its not uncommon for this majestic creature to pay a visit to the cottage.
