PET FRIENDLY For generations vacationers have sought the unique tranquility of Roanoke Island as their overnight resting place while enjoying the Outer Banks playground by day. This room is located at the Island Guest House in historic Manteo. Two (2) night minimum stay on weekends from May to September and a three (3) night minimum stay on holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day). Pet fee is $40 per pet for the first night, and $25 per pet per night for consecutive nights.

Rooms are positioned on either the 1st floor or 2nd floor (accessible by stairs only) of the Inn. Capturing spectacular views of downtown Manteo and with 320 sq feet of space, these two queen rooms are perfect for creating your own sanctuary. Tranquil House Inn is managed by North State Hospitality.

Built in the style of the Outer Banks' inns of the 19th Century and enhanced with modern conveniences, the charm and comfort found in these rooms will greet you at every turn. Our King Standard rooms are positioned on either the first floor (accessible by ramp) or second floor (accessible by stairs only) of the Inn and offer 320 sq feet of space. Just steps away from all the excitement and exploration that Downtown Manteo offers. Tranquil House Inn is managed by North State Hospitality.
