The Stable Yard, Tranquil stay in beautiful Down

Unique shed conversion with views to the Mourne mountains. A tranquil location situated on our 10 acre equestrian yard but close to Downpatrick and Crossgar with shops, eateries and pubs. A quirky property with two double bedrooms, open plan living/dining with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen. The equine theme is evident in the design. There's a private south facing garden with access to all of our site with panoramic views over Co Down. Off road parking. Horses and dogs welcome.

Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

The Studio is a bright, modern self-contained space next to our home in the beautiful Co Down countryside. It is one large space (approx 36m2 with coved ceiling) with living area, queen size bed, 1 single bed and small dining space. We’ve lots of parking and a large garden - plenty of outdoor space for families. We are in the heart of Lecale; 3mi from Ardglass/Downpatrick and 5mi from Strangford Lough. A great base for enjoying nature, the mountains, golf, sailing, beach walks and sea swims.

Restaurants only a short drive away with mountains, golf courses, nature reserves and much more within easy reach.

Hollymount self catering Cottage with its traditional stone faced exterior and beautiful surroundings, is the ideal getaway location. This newly refurbished, well equipped cottage provides the perfect accommodation for six people- 2 double and 2 single beds including all of your home comforts. The Heights & Hollows Farmhouse is a 5 Bedroom property (sleeps 15 guests). An elegantly presented large house in the countryside which boasts a stylish interior and modern facilities. Amenities include: 5 Person outdoor Hot Tub, Gazebo area, garden room, football net for guests to enjoy. Please note: The HOT TUB is an add-on and will incur an extra charge if required: (100 GBP per stay payable upon arrival). Only available upon request and a minimum of 1 days notice required.

Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.

The Barn at Pink Cottage is close to Downpatrick, Strangford Lough and right at the centre of Game of Thrones filming locations in County Down. You’ll love my place because of it's quirkiness, cosiness, stained glass windows and medieval feel. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, honeymooners, walkers and anyone wishing to just get away from it all and kick back in a beautiful tranquil setting.
