It has its own private garden with amazing views, set within the grounds of our home surrounded by the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and National Trust Area. On the doorstep there are stunning coastal path walks along the White Cliffs of Dover - St. Margarets Bay beach - South Foreland Lighthouse and a national cycle route. An ideal base to explore White Cliffs Country and its surrounding areas.

Or you could just make a lovely weekend of it and visit all of our lovely coast and countryside .... cottage much bigger than the pictures. After all.... We are known as the "Garden of England ". The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Deal town is about 10 mins drive away and has a wealth of shops and restaurants. Great market on Saturdays

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.

The Annexe - Optional Hot Tub - Nr Dover

Our home and Annexe is situated just off the main road in the village of Lydden where we are surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and have access to beautiful walks on the chalk downlands and the Whitecliffs of Dover Coastal Walk is also close by. The village of Lydden has good transport links being adjacent to the A2 connecting Dover to London and within the easy reach the High Speed rail route to London St Pancras, Dover ferry port and the Eurotunnel.
