Cozy Country Cottage

Come stay in our ​cozy cottage located down a country lane. Part of the Ponder farm dating back to 1906, we have a little house that offers a peaceful environment overlooking the family farm with a picturesque old barn, surrounded by tree lined fields. Enjoy the updated home with fully furnished kitchen, queen bed, and open front and back porches for relaxing in the quiet countryside. We are located just south of Sherman off Hwy 11, close to Austin College, with easy access to Highway 75.

Take a step back in time as you stay in this restored 1920s service station which was once a stopping point for the infamous Bonnie and Clyde. With exposed brick, reclaimed wood walls, original tin ceilings, and a penny floor, this place is one of a kind! Nestled in the heart of the “sweetest town in Texas” spend your morning drinking coffee on the patio or eating breakfast at our repurposed Coca Cola cooler table and waking up to the sound of birds singing. 10 minutes from Bois d’Arc Lake!

Large luxurious barndominium in a beautiful country setting right outside of the city limits. This 2,400 sqft space is open concept with full kitchen, one full size bathroom, living area, dining table, washer/dryer, ping pong table and sleeping loft. The loft has two twin size bunk beds and two private queen size bedrooms off to either side. This property is shared with two other Airbnb rentable units with a large private pond down below with shared dock. No parties over 10 guests allowed.

This upper-floor efficiency loft sits in our beautifully restored 1916-era building. The unit features a queen bed, full kitchen, a kitchen table for two, and a glamorous tiled bathroom with a stand-up shower. Styled with Art Deco charm, it’s a cozy “1920s meets 2020s” luxury stay. Please note: the loft is stair-access only. Due to construction, 1st Street is closed to vehicles, but sidewalk access and nearby public parking remain available.

The Hive ... a country getaway

This is a beautiful country get away. Plenty of space to run around, ride horses, or have a fire and roast marshmallows. It is close to a charming small town with cute local shopping. Also very close to the Sulphur River where you can go fossil hunting, hiking, picnicing etc. Driving distance from Bonham State Park. Within a few miles of the Bois D'Arc Lake and we have plenty of room to park your boat or trailer during your stay.

All modern conveniences and furniture with a country french theme. Although it is a tiny house, it is very roomy and has plenty of space for one or two people. Relax in this cozy 2 bedroom newly renovated home with room for boat and trailer parking. Grandma's Cottage has just enough room to relax during your stay in Bonham with two living areas. This home has garage access and a long driveway for a boat trailer. It is located in central Bonham so you are close to everything including Lake Bois d’Arc and yet far enough to get some rest.
