Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

Accommodation is split level with a couple of steps separating the bedroom and living area from the fully equipped dining kitchen. Set in the hillside of Greenfield, Saddleworth. The cottage is situated on our family farm where we have a variety of animals: horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Due to the potential dangers we ask that guests do not access the yard and use the designated path to the cottage.
