It is minutes away from the Hiwassee River, as well as the Hiwassee Railway Excursion, Mennonite Market, & Wedding Venues. Whitewater Rafting on the Ocoee River & Hiwassee River within minutes from this location. Great house for those visiting or working!

Starr Mountain Cabin

Highlighted by the beautiful backdrop of the Starr Mountain Range, this cabin is the ultimate getaway for the whole family. Located on a family farm, it is not uncommon to look out of the window and see horses, cows, or goats peacefully grazing. The Cherokee Forest is only five minutes away offering hiking, picnic areas, and playgrounds and the Hiwassee River for endless recreation like fishing, kayaking, and tubing. The Tennessee Valley Railroad runs nearby as well and offers scenic day trips.

Wahuhi Holler at Created Country is 10 min from Tellico Plains, the river and Cherohala Skyway. Enjoy 17 acres with 1.25 miles of ever expanding walking trails next to a creek and brooks. Keep an eye out for those pesky gnomes. Relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch or grilling out on the back. Located in a quiet farming community, this renovated horse barn features two comfortable bedrooms, kitchen, bath and laundry rooms, expansive porches, grill, gazebo and fire pit. Bring your kayaks, rods & reels, hiking boots or a good book and enjoy what nature has to offer. Minutes to Hiwassee and Ocoee rivers.

Gypsy Haven

Gypsy Haven is nestled at the foot of the Bean mountain, right between the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers. We are only 15 mins from The Ocoee & Hiwassee Rivers, 19 miles to Cleveland, & about a 45 minute drive to Chattanooga. Enjoy white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain climbing, zip lining, horse back riding and more all within a short drive. You also have access to feed our sweet mules & Sir Spits a lot the alpaca! Note this is a guest house/ loft above our garage so you do walk up stairs.

Cozy Cottage on Peacock Farm

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis minutes away from Downtown Athens and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Attractions in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers are less than an hour away. Only a little further to Dollywood and Gatlinburg for any tourist activity you can imagine. The cottage offers a kitchen, queen size bed, TV, DVD player, and washer/ dryer. *Currently working on getting wifi in the cabin and there are not any actual peacocks on the farm.

Private log cabin at Windswept Farm

If you are looking for a get-away experience with a beautiful mountain backdrop, this is it. Nestled into 300+ private acres of cattle land and woods, our cabin overlooks rolling pastures and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of adventures are nearby too - world-class white-water rafting on the Ocoee River, or for a quieter adventure, try fly-fishing or tubing down the Hiwassee River. And as this is a working cattle farm, premium beef is usually available for purchase while you're here.

Hiwassee Riverside Retreat

This riverside retreat with majestic mountain views is right on the Hiwasee River! The spacious home is primely located in Delano, TN, a mile from Gee Creek, five miles from Etowah, a half-hour from Cleveland and Ocoee River rafting, and less than an hour from Chattanooga. You can trout fish or raft/kayak from the backyard. You can easily visit the nearby campgrounds and park, Amish Market, and take in all that the Gee Creek area has to offer. Enjoy your time at this unique and tranquil getaway situated only steps away from the scenic Cherohala Skyway. We are located at 240 Bear Lane, Tellico Plains. Our property consists of 6 cabins and 5 tiny houses. Steps away from the Cherohala Skyway and within the town boundaries, our cabins are located in a meadow with mountain views. We are just minutes from all the popular attractions, restaurants and town events. We are walking distance from grocery shopping and area restaurants.

Riverstone cabin- Mist in the Hiwassee Gorge

A cozy camping cabin nestled in a beautiful grove of trees and only steps away from Gee Creek. Bordering Cherokee N.F & Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park, this little nest is your basecamp. Endless outdoor adventures await you. If a more chill weekend is what your looking for, then hit up the local Mennonite Market & Winery. Queen log bed & gear storage area attached. Only a short walk down the pebbled path to the bathhouse, outdoor kitchen sink, & coffee bar. WIFI in the cabin & outside.
