On the edge of Snowdonia it's ideal for walkers, cyclists and exploring Mid-Wales, beach at Aberdovey (20mins), RSPB Ynyshir (15 mins), Dyfi Ospreys (15mins), so much to do - sea, mountains and history. Located in a designated Dark Skies region. Rural, scenic location 4 miles from Dolgellau, Snowdonia, with footpaths & cycle track starting from the pod. Ideal base for walkers, cyclists, sight-seers & photographers. Cross Foxes Hotel 1 mile. Snowdon Pen y Pass car park just over 1 hour. Zip World Forest just under 1 hour.

Hidden deep within the Dyfi Forest on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park is our unique, off grid cabin. With amazing views over the valley, you can just sit back and enjoy the natural world around you. If mountain biking is your thing, we are right on the Climachx Mountain Bike Trails and a stones throw from Dyfi Bike Park. There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

The Hide - Glamping Hut - Snowdonia

A cosy and relaxing space with touches of rustic charm. Located in the heart of Snowdonia, surrounded by the mountains. An open plan living space with all the essentials. Cooking area ,with mini fridge & camping stove. Parking Private parking available, the track up to the cabin is steep. There is a parking space available at the bottom of the track (50 meters away from the cabin) or you are welcome to drive up, as there is space to park and turn around at the top of the track.

Come and stay in one of our 2 lovely yurts or bring your friends and hire them both! Private location surrounded by nature and the sound of the river. The yurt is situated on an organic small holding in the beautiful Welsh valleys. You have to cross a foot bridge to get to it. Leave your car on one side of the river and walk to your accommodation. We can also provide fruit and veg as we run an organic market garden in the summer months.

Escape to your own private lake in this unique off-grid cabin, complete with a wood-fired hot tub under the stars. Wake in a king-size bed overlooking water and woodland, spend your days canoeing to the island, and your evenings by the fire. This is true off-grid luxury — no noise, no light pollution, just total peace and dark, star-filled skies. We’re a small family-run setup — we built the cabins ourselves and host guests personally.
