Mariners Cottage is a beautifully restored fisherman’s cottage, tucked away on the cobbled streets of Appledore, just moments from the quay. Recently renovated, this cosy, dog-friendly retreat is perfect for couples or small families seeking a relaxed coastal escape. Dogs are welcome throughout, including upstairs, with treats provided. Sea Breeze Lodge, Croyde Coastal Retreats

Set in a stunning coastal location, with all the comforts of home, the Sea Breeze lodge has the added benefit of being dog friendly costing £30 per dog per visit. You have your own small, private and secure garden, so you know your four legged holiday companion can be off-lead when you’re at home chilling out. The lodge sleeps 6 people, with an ensuite double bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and a comfortable double bed settee in the spacious living room, plus a second bathroom.

Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.
