Our cottage sleeps 5-6 and is nestled in the Cotswold escarpment below Rodborough Common with over 300 acres of open countryside giving dramatic views over Stroud and the Severn Vale. Off the beaten track but only a short walk to Stroud. A great place to stay anytime of the year but with a woodburner it is very cosy in the winter. Only 1.5hrs by train from London. Loads of good walks nearby inc Cotswold Way. Short drives to Bristol, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Highchair,cot, stairgate available.

The house has a log burner, 3 modern shower rooms one with a large bath, an Aga in the kitchen and parking. Kemble Station is 10 minutes drive away.

The house has been renovated to a high standard, combining modern design with period features. Sleeping up to 4, it is an ideal bolt hole for friends, couples or families with children. The recently refurbished house, with log burning stove, south facing lounge/kitchen/dining room, bedroom, en-suite and dry stone walled courtyard garden, will provide a cosy retreat. The cottage is available with a super king size bed. Alternatively, twin beds with prior notice. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, hob, oven, dishwasher and microwave.

The house is rustic and quirky and you can walk for hours in the forest and surrounding countryside, directly from the front door.

The Snug is a 100 year old Cotswold stone carpenter's barn recently refurbished to create a comfortable en-suite studio room. Featuring a beautifully restored exposed Cotswold stone wall, it has bags of charm and is perfectly located for rambling and enjoying nature in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Close to many places of interest, quaint villages and country pubs with open fires, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
