Close access to Snowmobiling, X Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities.

We have new hiking trails on the thirty acres around us. One can also walk right into the Carson National Forest and have another 40,00 acres to roam. 59 miles to Santa Fe, 35 miles to Taos. 3 RV hookups for extra charge. Horses allowed. It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

Cozy rustic cabin facing Eagle Nest Lake with spectacular views including Wheeler Peak, tallest in New Mexico. The cabin is about 450 sq. ft. and is fully furnished (microwave, fridge, stove, pots/pans/dishes/utensils) has a kiva fireplace, a full size bed for singles, couples or Mom and Dad with bunk beds for the kids and a TV to play games or watch videos. Fishing is just a few minutes away, and depending on the season, golf and skiing are nearby too.

River's Bend

Located on the bank of the Cucharas River, the River's Bend ideal mountain retreat is geared for a family vacation, or personal restorative get away. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!

Retreat from the city in the magical small mountain village of Stonewall.
