Kangaroo Cottage is an adults only retreat, surrounded by majestic Jarrah trees and wildlife. Guests have a wonderful opportunity to escape the city & immerse themselves in the serenity of the hills. Please be aware that the cottage is located on our family hobby farm & the sounds of our animals are a part of the Kangaroo Cottage experience. Our property is not suitable for pets or children. A light breakfast of croissants & condiments will be provided for the first morning of your stay.

It’s perfect for couples seeking peace and quiet, or a romantic getaway. Across the farmland often has cattle or horses grazing. Follow the zig-zag path leading to the jetty. Tie up your own boat if you have one or launch a kayak and explore downstream. Restaurants shops and cafes are nearby. The property has a security camera in the car park.

Peaceful Hilltop Retreat

Escape to our cozy studio, a quiet hideaway set among the hills. Accessed via a gravel road, you will be surrounded by native trees and wildlife. With no WI-FI this retreat offers a genuine chance to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with nature. The retreat is located 50 minutes from Perth Airport. We live in the adjoining house on the property, so help is nearby if needed, while your accommodation remains private and self-contained. There is still 5G reception available at the suite.

The Little Wren Farm, Lake Clifton

The Little Wren Farm is close to the Forest Highway and about 30 minutes from Mandurah. It is set among Peppermint forests and Tuart trees and has a variety of birds from Black Cockatoos to the adorable little Blue Wren. The parrots come in to feed throughout the day and Kangaroos are often seen grazing a few meters from the homestead. The Little Wren Farm is good for couples and business travellers and is a peaceful, quiet little gem in the country. The sleeper couch can sleep 2 children.

Elegant and private canal home, allowing you to experience everything that Mandurah has to offer. Watch dolphins swim past in your back yard, catch crabs off the jetty, use the kayaks to head into town, go fishing or just relax and read one of the many books in the parents retreat, or sun room, watch a movie, play cards or head down to the beach. Welcome to our tranquil studio retreat nestled in a serene coastal community, our open-concept studio space is the perfect getaway for two people looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the WA coastline. Our studio is a cozy and inviting space designed with your comfort in mind. As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the abundance of natural light and beautiful calming plants.
