Batts Ferry is a much more modern version of a log cabin indicative of 1848. It is named in honor of the Batts family, which ran a ferry at the Brazos River on land neighboring 7F Land and Cattle Company. The Batts Ferry cabin is one of our coziest cabins with an interior of log walls, raised ceiling, king-sized bed and a round 2–person Jacuzzi tub set in the middle of a wooden water cistern. The screened-in front porch includes two rocking chairs and a domino table; perfect for a cool evening.

There is also a pond on the property. You will feel like you've come home. Pulling a trailer? There's plenty of room for parking and with a coded gate entrance, no worries about safety.

Once a working milking barn on the Schehin Dairy Farm, it has been beautifully restored and transformed. Just under 10 miles from Kyle Field off Wellborn Road (FM 2154), it offers both convenience and privacy.
