A Country Garden Cottage

This self-contained studio with veranda is set in beautiful gardens in the rural village of Peel Forest, opposite the hall. Private, quiet, tastefully decorated. Living/sleeping are combined in an L shaped room. There is a separate kitchenette (basic food preparation/microwave/small electric frypan) and bathroom. Sleeping options - a queen size bed or 2 single beds. SINGLE BEDS MUST BE REQUESTED WHEN BOOKING. Bush walks nearby. Parking. Continental breakfast. Nearest town is Geraldine, 19kms.

Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

Dromore Downs is a modern farm homestead nestled in a picturesque country setting just minutes from Ashburton and a 1 hour drive from Christchurch. Spacious and stylish this property is perfect if you are looking for a restful country experience, travelling, skiing at the Mt Hutt Ski Field or exploring the countryside which includes 'Edoras' (Mt Sunday), Lord of the Rings filming location. From comfort & warmth of a newly built cabin you over look our small farm and have some amazing mountain views and some equally amazing sunsets. Peace & tranquility take over as you are far enough out of town, while actually only being 2 minutes from Temuka's Town Centre, 15 minutes from Timaru's Caroline Bay and Town Centres Cafes and Shops and 8 minutes from Fonterra's Clandeboye Site.

Delightful 1-bed barn with stunning mountain views

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, sheep, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Beautiful native trees and birdsong surround your own peaceful, private, and quiet cottage and gardens. We have a star gazing area where you will be awed by the clear sky and see the Milky Way and all the constellations. Our Retreat Cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, including a 3 pin EV charging port. Your hosts, Drew and Sally, will meet you and show you where you can browse the large vegetable gardens and orchard.

The area has recently been boosted by the opening of the Opuke Thermal Pools and Spa. Mount Hutt Skifield is likewise only a 20 min drive from the property.With Christchurch International Airport being one hour away.

Country Cabin

The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.
