Sandy River Sanctuary and Sauna

Treat yourself to the lower suite of our Sandy River home located just 2 miles from downtown Troutdale, OR. Our suite includes a sauna and an indoor soaking tub (not jetted.) We live above the suite and we have a toddler who is in daycare during the work hours and typically sleeps from 7pm to 7 am. There is a locked, sound absorbing accordian door. Yet, you may still be able to hear us from time to time. We are located on a scenic hwy minutes away from Edgefield and the Columbia River Gorge.

Beautiful, Magical, Treehouse

"Glamping at its' best"! 16' x 16' TreeHouse, suspended between 3 large fir trees, queen size bed, loft w/2 twin beds, composting toilet, much more, situated on 20 acres with a pond. Gas heater, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot. IMPORTANT: this is a Tree House! Going up the spiral staircase is an adventure in itself, so pack small bags (or packs) (large suitcases are not appropriate). Cozy inside in the wintertime, also with a park-like setting with walking access down the lush backyard to the river where you can enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, and bird watching. You can use the shared recreation room with ping pong, pool table, shuffleboard, and weights.

Incredible River House in the Columbia River Gorge

Welcome to the "Parker Tract" river house, a modern retreat in the Columbia Gorge along the Washougal River with 200 feet of private riverfront and an incredible swimming and fishing hole. The house sits on just under two acres with beautiful forest, a huge lawn and fire pit, swing set, hot tub, 10-hole frisbee golf course, and all the privacy you could ask for only 45 minutes from Portland. The house is 2 BR, 2 BA. It is a perfect venue for a quiet weekend in a beautiful location.

Rustic Creekside Cabin

This tranquil hideaway feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but is just minutes from Portland. Relax next to the burbling creek surrounded by towering cedar trees. The MAX Orange line and downtown Milwaukie are only five minutes away. Built in 1928, the cabin has one bedroom and bathroom, living room, full kitchen and central heat. The bedroom has one queen bed and an en suite bathroom. There is a pull-out queen futon in the living room.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

The Woodlands House

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.

The River House - Waterfront Retreat w/Fireplace

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our private guest suite on the banks of the Clackamas River. This 1,500-square-foot suite has its own private entrance and a spacious deck with beautiful views of the pond and river. Inside, you'll find a comfortable, well-appointed space with a fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay.

Creekside Haven

Come enjoy our peaceful Creekside Haven, a guest house (built onto the stand-alone garage apart from the main house) nestled in a country forest with a creek. You'll have access to the fire pit for s'mores and the relaxing hammock for two. We're just 18 miles South of downtown Portland. Sorry, no pets, weddings, parties, hair dying, smoking of any substance indoors, or illegal drugs.
