A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

The Bee Cottage

Welcome to The Bee Cottage! This cozy cottage is nestled in the woods overlooking a beautiful sun-filled meadow situated on 5 private acres adjacent to Mary S. Young Park. In this quiet and pastoral setting you'll see deer wandering in the orchard and on the other side of the meadow are honeybee hives tended to by the host. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.)
