For those boat captains, there’s a neighborhood boat ramp that is just around the corner so bring the boat. During raining days, enjoy the poker table, darts, and variety of boards/card games. 2 kayaks are available for your use during your stay. It’s perfect for guests looking to unplug, slow down, and enjoy a more natural, secluded stay. Please note that electricity is no longer provided, which allows for a quiet, simple environment away from the usual distractions. Just 6 miles from downtown historic Edenton where you can tour, sip, dine, and shop near the waterfront.

The Trestle House is named after the railroad trestles that serve as the beams in the ceilings of the first floor and basement. The stone fireplaces and original wooden floors all combine to give the house its beautiful, unique character. The wraparound deck gives magnificent views of the pond and yard, often with the wildlife that share the home with guests. There is plenty of room for everyone, with five bedrooms, each with their own bath.
