Come and enjoy nature with 100+ acres to roam. Architect James Fox designed this cantilevered cliffside home overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Feel like you are in the trees, in an area much as it was when inhabited by Cherokee Indians. Stream feeds into Lake Hartwell. In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Secluded in the woods at the end of a lane, it is a modern interpretation of an old hunting cabin with boundless room for nature lovers. It is a comfortable home for healthful recreation and the replenishment of the mind and body, and a wonderful place to unplug. Perfect for singles, honeymooners, couples and young families. This is a two story home with the bathroom and bedroom located on the second floor.

Looking for a romantic hide-away? Do you LOVE nature? Then the Screamin' Bear Cabin is the place to be. Just a 10-to-12-minute drive (4 miles) into downtown Clayton, you can enjoy unique shops and places to eat as well as nearby wineries, a distillery, a brewery and 2 speak-easy bars! Nearby hiking, fishing, white water rafting, scenic drives, and more. Or stay at the cabin and enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. North Georga is an adventure waiting for you!

After a day of hiking to amazing waterfalls, whitewater rafting, golfing or just exploring the local shops, return to your private oasis in the mountains for a peaceful night's rest.

The Cottage

Come relax and refresh in peaceful surroundings. Relax and unwind on the front porch. Experience tranquility as the sun sets and the frogs start croaking. You are welcome to cast a line in the pond to try your skill at fishing. Fishing poles are not provided. The cottage is private but still has convenience of Walmart and Oconee Memorial Hospital within a 5 minute drive. We are 13 miles from Clemson. Minimum age to book is 25 years of age.
