Down the winding road, at the bottom of the wooded hill, “Serenity” awaits. This single-room guesthouse sits on the banks of Sibley Lake. Relax and take in the sunsets from the screened porch. Up to 4 guests with a queen-sized bed and a queen fold-out couch. It has a full bath with shower, a kitchenette with island and barstools. Yellow Bayou Plantation is a real working farm that sits on over 100 acres along the historic Yellow Bayou. The guesthouse is located behind the main house. It has an open floor plan, a full kitchen and an antique claw foot tub. There are horses, chickens, cows & honey bees located on the property as well as a stocked fishing pond and a swimming pool. You may see a combine harvesting a crop off in the distance or beekeeping activity. Come fall in love with this rural farming area.

Country Camping on the Farm

Experience the quiet farm life while camping in the backwoods of Southern Louisiana! You’ll love the secluded area next to a pasture of friendly cows and a lake where you can take a walk and check out some wildlife. This camper is equipped with two A/C units, two TVs, a radio inside and out, a nice sized fridge/freezer, and all the comforts and necessities of home. Come relax with us! (We do not have Wi-Fi so be sure to bring a hotspot to use streaming services on the TVs.)
