Perfect place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of Houston or Austin, and a great base camp to hit up Round Top weekends and/or all that Austin County has to offer. Country Farm Retreat ( A home away from home)

We are a small family farm located on a 27 acres an hour away from Houston, TX. The bungalow offers picturesque views and a secluded get away with all the modern amenities that you expect. Your fridge is stocked with some breakfast supplies including daily farm fresh eggs collected daily from our chicken coop. We are moments away from local wineries, breweries, fine dining, and antique shopping galore. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids).

Built in 1900 of European craftsmanship, The Cottage at Chappell Hill is a farmhouse cottage perched above a small pond. It faces Main Street in the heart of a tiny, Hallmark-type town (population: 300). Downtown is only 1/2 mile away with unique shops, diners, landmarks. Brenham is 8 miles away. Formerly owned by artist Kiki Newmann, the cottage has been known as the “Healing House” for decades. It’s the perfect place to unwind, celebrate, and create cherished memories.

Holland House

Holland House, a building filled with character and charm built in 1877; one of only a few that survived the hurricane of the 1900's. The unique twist of the building is what we fondly refer to as "character". Located on the square, a private brick paved courtyard has large oak trees to unwind or simply enjoy the quiet that our small town has to offer. Shops and dining are within walking distance. The Shirttail Bunkhouse is located on Shirttail Creek Farm, a working regenerative farm outside of Brenham, TX. Check out our IG @shirttailcreekfarm The Shirttail Bunkhouse is the perfect spot to get away from the city and decompress in the country. Sip your morning coffee from the porch as the farm gets going every day. In the evening grill some steaks out back or head into downtown Brenham to check out several of the great spots our town offers!

After the hustle and bustle of the city, or a long day touring historic Texas towns, take a break and escape to this relaxing getaway. Located in the quaint town of New Ulm, Texas, The Bird's Nest is a quick 20-25 minute drive from all attractions; the perfect base camp for a trip to some local art galleries in Fayetteville or a day of antiquing in the Round Top area and just 2 miles from The Vine event venue and wine tasting room.

The Goebel House

The Goebel House was built in 1921 by the Gus Goebel Family. The current owner is also a Goebel and considers the house family. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and an open concept living, dining, and kitchen. Includes a back yard patio and large covered front porch. Nestled near downtown Bellville, Texas, The Goebel House is 20 minutes from Brenham and 35 minutes from Round Top.

Relax and unwind at the 1916 Farmhouse on Mill's Creek. Enjoy the view of the 13 acres of the Sealy countryside. Mill's Creek runs along side of the Farmhouse. Bring your fishin pole. The Farmhouse is located halfway between Sealy and Bellville. These cute little towns have some yummy mom n pop restaurants and unique shops to explore for antiques.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Stoneham house is located on 26 acres in south Grimes county- 40 minutes from College Station, 15 minutes from Navasota proper and approximately 10 minutes from The Texas Renaissance Festival as well as less than an hour from Houston.

Perfect escape! Custom built cabin nestled in the woods. Tranquility awaits you among the beautiful trees, wildlife and star gazing. Although we do live on the 20 acre property, the cabin is secluded and the surrounding grounds and pond is completely fenced. No pets please. NO CLEANING FEE!
