Childwall Cottage

Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Crab Lane Studios

A beautiful traditional stone built barn converted into a contemporary/industrial/rustic living space with quirky touches. Located in the idyllic foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, on the Wicklow Way, it features an open plan kitchen/living/dining space, a mezzanine bedroom and a spacious wet room. An extension offers an additional boot room/rustic bathroom/loo and paved courtyard. The grounds are comprised of upper and lower lawns set on half an acre. A country pub is within walking distance.

The Studio in the Sky

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. This gorgeous little hut is tucked into the upper corner of a hay barn and has the cosy feel of a treehouse. Set in a peaceful rural spot overlooking open fields, it offers a real sense of escape. Although close to other buildings where we live, it is completely private. Access is via two short flights of sturdy steps leading to a balcony. Kilkenny city is a 20-minute drive away, but a car is essential as there is no public transport. An ideal place to retreat and unwind.

Babes Cottage

Our cottage is nestled in the beautiful Slieve Blooms mountains. This cottage boasts a traditional thatched roof surrounding by fantastic countryside. The cottage features two cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds and soft linens. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up hearty meals with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Warm up by the fireplace in the inviting living room, where you can curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV.

The Little House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located halfway between Portlaoise and Kilkenny, this is the ideal spot to stop and relax in the scenic countryside while touring the many local attractions. The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive. If you like space, fresh air, beautiful views and animals, this is the property for you!
