The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Twiggy

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these cosy wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Fabulous self-catering apartment for 2 people (+1 small/medium sized dog). This 18th Century cow byre has been lovingly restored by the owners, retaining the original stone walls. An ideal space to get away from it all, enjoy peace and quiet in front of a wood-burning stove, whilst taking in the amazing views from Lochbay to the Outer Hebrides. Croftend Glamping - Heatherbell

Welcome to Heatherbell. The pod is a perfect getaway for 2, with everything you could need and is just 5 minutes drive from Lochboisdale ferry terminal. Heatherbell is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking. In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Caravan On The Croft

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a double bed, and a two small bunk type beds. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.
