Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Our quaint log cabin overlooks a small pond and is situated on 40 acres of woodland; the only other development on the property is a charming farmhouse down the lane (our home). Cozy up with a good book next to the wood-burning stove. Watch the local wildlife from a rocking chair on the covered porch. Gaze at the stars on a clear night. Visit nearby trout streams, antique stores, and local sights, then come back to this simple, well-appointed respite in the woods.

Castle Rock Lake, Sand Valley Golf, Northern Bay

Our cozy, cute cabin has two bedrooms. One with queen the other with full. There is also a hideabed in the great room. Relax in great room with a warm fire or the deck with a fire table. There is a gas grill on site as well as a full service kitchen. Bring your boat or water craft to use on Castle Rock lake, 1/2 mile away OR enjoy a day at the many parks in the area. Bring your snowmobile, atv, or utv for the many trails or clubs for the golf courses!

Sunset Cottage

Quaint quiet two bedroom house with a full kitchen, spacious living room, hot tub, fire pit, gas grill along with a nice view of Castle Rock Lake. Relax with the whole family playing games at this peaceful place. This house is a no smoking , no pets. When using the hot tub, food and glass containers are not allowed.We have added a washer and dryer, electric fireplaces and a work space that is at the table in the rec room. The Wi-Fi is wireless.
