The Strath, a quiet home from home.

The Strath in Killearn is a delightful country home. The cosy seating area with wood burning stove opens into the kitchen and dining area. A large lounge with original fireplace is accessed through double doors. The kitchen doors provide access to the garden area, sheltered by surrounding trees. The two available comfortable double bedrooms upstairs provide views across the hills and countryside. A bathroom with bath and shower upstairs is complimented by the additional bathroom downstairs.

The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. The house holds a good central position close to airports; Glasgow airport is 30 minutes away and Edinburgh airport is 40 minutes drive and is a good base for a variety of day trips in and around the city. Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.
