The Carriage House

You will truly enjoy the picturesque beauty of this setting right outside the city limits. The property has been designated as a Wildlife Habitat. You may occasionally see deer on the property and there is also a lovely spring fed pond. Elvis Presley spent time here on a few occasions. He rowed around the pond in a canoe and rode horses here. It is a two minute drive to our historic downtown. Farmhouse style decor. This is a two-story dwelling. The bedroom, bathroom and living room are upstairs.

This cozy getaway has an open floor layout for a homey feel. The private bathroom has a shower/tub complete with shampoo and body wash. There is a well stocked coffee bar, complimentary snacks as well as coke products provided in the mini fridge and a small sink in the kitchen area. Secluded Cabin on BlackRiver/ Hot tub- NO PETS!

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.
