Sometimes in our busy lives we need to be reminded of the quiet and idealic life that Norman Rockwell invited us to. Well, welcome to Norm's Place! Being only a few blocks from the city square, or a short walk to Murray State University. This is the perfect spot to stay for a game, or a retreat while staying caught up with work! Small-town Murray, KY offers great restaurants and needed amenities, close to the beautiful Kentucky backroads, breathtaking LBL; and minutes away from Kentucky Lake.

Our Sunny Story

This charming home is centrally located close to Murray State University, medical facilities, and a variety of restaurants and coffee shops. Just a short drive to Kentucky Lake & LBL for all your outdoor adventures. Spacious living/dining area with sectional couch and recliner provides comfortable seating for everyone. Fully equipped kitchen. Utility room features washer, dryer & deep freeze. Large fenced backyard with patio area and outdoor seating. Located in the beautiful town of MKY.

Harmony House ... our two bedroom apartment suite;

This apartment (three steps at entrance), is attached to our home; it has a warm and cozy living room with a kitchenette only, a large bathroom with two separate bedrooms; lots of storage, in the country, just a few minutes from Murray (and Murray State University). You are within an hour of the “Land between the Lakes” area. Area brochures available. You have a private patio, table, grill, Wi-fi, tv, games , children’s playground, and gazebo! NO PETS, ALLOWED! We have 2 playful Labs!

Step back in time and experience the allure of a bygone era in our lovingly restored 1950s house that boasts old-world charm, combined with the luxurious comfort of a spa-like bathroom. This vintage gem is the perfect getaway for those seeking a unique blend of history and relaxation. This is the perfect place to get away from home and enjoy some self care. The bathroom features a soaking tub (60" x 32" x 21-1/2" with 17-1/2" soaking depth), 2 shower heads, and 3 body jets.

Stylishly simple and centrally located in Murray, this home is an easy 2 minute drive from Murray State Campus. Drive just a couple miles to Murray's best restaurants and shops, and take advantage of the beauty LBL (National Recreation Area) displays 20 minutes down the road. The entirety of this home offers a full kitchen, private keypad entry, designated parking spot, washer/dryer, TV/Wi-Fi (Netflix complimentary), and the essential amenities you need to treat yourself.

Bethel House

Co host Lynn Rogers has always been an outdoorsman. Knowledgeable about all hunting and fishing areas including history of all the surrounding areas including the nearby National Park just 15 minutes away. Kentucky Lake 10-15 minutes away. Lake Barkley 20 min Lynn is an old time Eagle Scout who has hiked hundreds of miles of Land Between The Lakes trails. Paducah is just 45 minutes away, all 4 lane except the 1st 2 miles. Fort Donelson is a 35 minutes.

Home Sweet Home Country Cottage

Comfortably furnished and private one room cottage with a full kitchen and bathroom. It has a queen sized bed that sleeps 2 and a twin bed that can sleep 1. The property is located on 20 acres of timber. Deer are regularly seen in the beautiful backyard. There is a grill on the patio that guests may use. It has central heat and air and ceiling fans. It is three miles from Kentucky Lake. There is no WiFi or cable, but we do supply dvds and VHS tapes.

Welcome to Our Father’s Place! Four generations of our family have invited folks to come to enjoy good food, stay all night (or a lot of nights), visit, rest or just sit a spell. It’s our desire that you will enjoy your time here and maybe make some good memories. Murray is a “Goldilocks” kind of town…it’s just right. It’s big enough to offer options for entertainment and dining but small enough to offer plenty of Southern hospitality.

The Mizpah A is centrally located close to Murray State University for all of its attractions, games and events. It is walking distance to the Chestnut Street park. There are many restaurants and 2 coffee shops which are within a half a block. Quick and easy access with the comfort of home with a gas grill and chiminea to relax at the end of the day.
