For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Haven Cottage

This luxury two-sleeper chalet features a Kol Kol wood-fired hot tub on the covered stoep and a fire pit for stargazing and traditional South African braais. Inside, the chalet boasts a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower. The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, microwave, and 2-plate gas hob, with a breakfast bar overlooking breathtaking mountain views. Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. About an hour and a half from Cape Town, near the Nuy valley, Amandalia farm is home to Saggy Stone Brewery and now 6 unique A-Frame cottages situated within a private nature reserve.
