The River Derwent runs past the cottage and it's surrounded by some of the finest views, walking paths and trails the park has to offer, from an easy walk to a nearby pub or restaurant or a more strenuous hike up Scafell Pike - the highest mountain in England. We are a nature friendly farm at the foot of Catbells. Great walking straight from the door. We cater for walkers and cyclists who will appreciate the peace and quiet of the location. The accommodation is very basic with a small kitchen area, a wood burning stove, 3 single mattresses, and a double bed on the mezzanine. The bathroom is next to the camping barn, and there is a washing up area outside. The barn will be exclusively for your use, it is not shared.
