The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!

This new cabin sits on the South Arkansas River in Poncha Springs, minutes away from Salida. It's nestled on 5 acres with cottonwoods throughout. The river is the focal point of the cabin. Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in the sunny Rocky Mountains. A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a comfortable modern cabin all <15 mins from historic downtown Salida, CO. We designed the Glass Greenhouse with massive windows, a private wraparound deck with a hanging bed, and views of the national forest at the back of the property. Our goal was to bring the outside in while you enjoy the comforts of a modern cabin.

Quiet La Garita Cabin | Trails, Stars & Wood Stove

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Your stay is in a bright and airy studio apartment/cottage located in a shaded English style garden with places to sit and relax anytime of day, perfect for one or two people. Private off street parking for one vehicle. Convenient walking distance to Downtown Westcliffe. Retreat at Roundhill - Beautiful Mountain Getaway!

Get away from it all at our cottage - Retreat at Round Hill. You will have access to miles of hiking, biking & ATV trails. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.
