The Barn - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. There is a seasonal heated swimming pool, BBQ area, fire pit and playground Nest Swing. Cottage has air conditioning, floor heating and a private verandah. Approx 40mins to Falls Creek, 35mins to Bright. Perfect getaway for any time of the year.

Little Farm Accommodation

We are nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps,close to Bright. There is a crystal clear stream suitable for trout fishing nearby. Our little farm consists of cattle, chickens, two dogs, chestnuts and blueberries and bountiful Australia wildlife. The cottage(bedsit) is self contained and private, with one double and two single beds plus a very large shady garden with a BBQ and Gazebo. Pets are welcome. We very much welcome international travelers to this beautiful area.

Green Gables is a peaceful cottage situated in lush gardens on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

Lupo’s Loft is upstairs at Lupo’s Kiln Cafe. Luxury accommodation for 2 in a king bed, complimentary champagne on arrival, free WiFi, Netflix TV(using your own login),kitchenette, bathroom and lounge area. Ideally located on the rail trail and the Great Alpine Road it is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. Lupo’s Kiln Cafe is open for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday’s and lunch only on Sunday’s. Open from 11am - 10pm Fri & Sat. 11am - 4pm Sun.

Come and stay and see the native spring flowers bloom, go for beautiful nature hikes in summer, and see local towns, warm colour array of falling leaves in autumn. Spectacular!
