We love the laidback neighborhood, charming historic architecture, and the 5-block walk to the breezy waterfront along Bay Street. The cozy cottage is one bedroom, one bath, and a lovely living space on a postage stamp lot. The built-in breakfast nook is our favorite spot. Other features are the chic furnishings, 11’ ceilings, tall casement windows, and little front porch. Off-street private parking for one car and smart tv/wifi. The 400 SF cottage is named after the architect's daughter.

Make yourself at home in our renovated tiny home just two blocks from the bay and less than 1 mile to Downtown Beaufort. In just over 400 square feet you will find a living room, full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and washer/dryer. This circa 1940s home has been lovingly updated and decorated to make for a comfortable stay. You will sleep soundly on the 12" memory foam mattress and cool technology pillows. *Please note that the living room/kitchen floor slopes about 4" due to the home's age.

The Cottage at Burroughs

The Cottage at Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.

Romantic cottage on three-acres surrounded by gorgeous South Carolina waterways with endless views on all sides! Cottage is dog-friendly, has a fully-fenced front yard and screened-in porch. Full kitchen, private parking, washer & dryer, 55" TV with DirecTV. A short 10 minute drive from Hunting Island State Park, and 20 minutes to Downtown Beaufort and all the major attractions. Cottage is beautifully furnished with custom pieces to make this your ultimate low country luxury getaway!

A beach pass is provided for Hunting Island State Park as well as beach chairs and towels. "MarshSong" is an inspirational place for anyone who just wants to relax, or explore; a good central point for visiting Charleston and Savannah. Rest, relax, recharge - nap on a hanging bed; sleep well.
