Built in 1790 as a blacksmith shop named “The Town Ax," Blacksmith House was rebuilt in the early 1990's and renovated by the present owners in 2017. The roughhewn beams of the original structure are exposed in every room. Our largest option, the Mountain View Suite incorporates high ceilings, and mountaintop views from a raised dining area to provide a large and light oasis. Located on the second floor, the suite features custom antique accents and original artwork that evoke a sense of adventure. The room includes a large bath with clawfoot tub and shower, kitchenette, and sleeper sofa. Custom queen mattress (featured at the Four Seasons NYC), organic cotton sheets.

The Wood House

The Wood House is a 19th century farmhouse steps from the Kaaterskill Creek. In 2020 it was renovated from top to bottom including a fully equipped Kitchen, all new Bath and Powder Room, geothermal heat and central air and a wood burning stove for cozy winter visits. The location is central to Saugerties, Catskill, Kingston, Hudson and Woodstock and Catskill Park.
