The property even has a private mountain stream. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

"Mt Buffalo Hazelnuts" is a 53 acre property occupying a stunning elevated location in the Buckland valley with majestic views of Mt Buffalo and surrounds. At its centre is a large and comfortable family home, surrounded by extensive gardens. A tranquil hazelnut orchard extends all around, and up higher is a substantial area of native bushland. Bushies Love Shack

Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.
